Mafatlal Industries Ltd (MIL) is planning an expansion drive in textile retailing. The company currently has 200 retail textile showrooms, 6000 full fledged textile show rooms (some franchise models). It plans to add 50 showrooms (10 in Maharashtra, 20 in Kerala, 5 in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Kolkatta ) with an investment of Rs. 60 million. It also plans to increase its semi-wholesale dealers from 300 to 500 over next 5 years.
