Nahar Group, a textile major based in Punjab is planning an expansion programme with an investment of Rs. 15000 million. The company will install two lakh new spindles in its Lalru in Mohali district and Jodhan/Malekotla in Ludhiana district of Punjab. Currently, the company has 8 lakh spindles. The company also plans to double its denim manufacturing capacity to 40 million meters per annnum. The expansion programme is likely to be completed in 2015.
